 | | Peppinot - pronounced ‘Peppy-not’ - is a 'friend' from Karin Kolbe's childhood. | | Peppinot Press was established in 2000 by Karin Kolbe and Ursula Kolbe. The company is based in Byron Bay, Northern NSW, Australia, a community famous for its creativity and home of the world renowned Byron Bay Writer's Festival. Our first book, Rapunzel’s Supermarket: All About Young Children and Their Art, was published in 2001. It’s now in its third printing and is sold in Australia, USA, Canada, England, New Zealand and Singapore. Our second book, It’s Not a Bird Yet: The Drama of Drawing, was released in November 2005 and is already achieving strong interest in Australia and around the world. Karin lives in Byron Bay where she manages the day-to-day operations of Peppinot Press. She is also president of the community campaign to restore rail services in the Byron area – TOOT! Trains on our Tracks.
